Older Adult Community Teams

This mental health service aims to provide the best possible treatment and help for older people with cognitive impairment to sustain independent living for as long as possible. Where this is not possible, the service will work with partner agencies, service users and their carers to ensure that the least restrictive environment is accessed to safely meet their needs.

Coping Carers Group

The 'Coping Carers Group’ is an 8 week programme run by Salford Older Adult Primary Care Psychological Therapies for carers of people living with dementia. The group aims to help people with the emotional difficulties associated with their caring role such as stress, anxiety and depression.
